Senior Consultant - Geology

Matthew Paul is a Senior Consultant – Geology at Spectrum Consultants, with over 10 years of experience in mineral exploration across senior, project and consulting geology roles. He has worked across a range of commodities including iron ore, rare earth elements, base metals and gold, supporting projects from early-stage exploration through to resource development and geotechnical programs.

Matthew brings extensive experience in exploration planning, geological assessments, drilling coordination, contractor management, field logistics, QA/QC, budgeting, safety systems, and technical, environmental and regulatory reporting. His specialist capabilities include GIS, core logging, structural measurements, applied exploration geochemistry and petrography.

Prior to joining Spectrum Consultants, Matthew worked with Magnetite Mines, Auroch Minerals, Newcam Minerals, Helix Resources and Royal Resources, as well as supporting a range of exploration clients. His experience includes coordinating geotechnical programs, managing exploration approvals, liaising with landholders and Traditional Owners, and providing geological due diligence and prospect assessments.

At Spectrum Consultants, Matthew supports clients through senior geological consulting services, including technical reviews, exploration management, project coordination and geological advisory. He is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).
